High Adventure by the Saltless Sea
Demigod and ruler of the Empire of the Glory of Jost Steelarm. Steelarm had already ascended to godhood by the time he rose to public prominence, and is is not known how he achieved this feat. He took no real interest in the cult that sprung up around him as he grew in power, likely due to the same love of worldly glory that caused him to remain among mortals rather than ascend to some more divine plane. Some connection has been drwn between Steelarm and a mercenary adventurer named Jost Bonehammer during the height of the Greater Mercantile Kingdom’s power, and researchers of the Odyllic Academy claim to have narrowed down the time period of his ascension to a period of celestial disturbances roughly six hundred and fifty years ago, but little else, including the origin of his eponymous steel arm, is known.
The cause of Steelarm’s destruction is unknown, as the energies that were released that night also destroyed all potential witnesses in the two nearby cities. The origin of the blasted Gray Area also stems from this time.
Steelarm’s godly portfolio was primarily concerned with conquest and leadership, with minor attention to the arts of building. His cult lingers to this day, though in greatly reduced form.
